Which kind of people has aggressive?
Aggressive people are easy to spot because they have instantly recognizable wide faces, researchers claim.
Just a quick glance at someone’s facial structure may be enough to predict their tendency towards aggression, according to a study published in the Psychological Science journal found
Facial width-to-height ratio (WHR) is determined by measuring the distance between the right and left cheeks and the distance from the upper lip to the mid-brow.
Psychologists from Brock University in the USA decided to follow up on previous research that suggested males with a large facial WHR act more aggressively than those with narrower features .
In the study, volunteers viewed photos of faces of men who had previously had their aggressive behaviour analysed.
The participants then rated how aggressive they thought each person was on a scale of one to seven, after viewing each face for either 2000 milliseconds or 39 milliseconds.
The results revealed the participants’ estimates of aggression correlated highly with the actual aggressive behaviour of the men – even if they only saw the picture for a split second.
And the volunteers’ estimates also matched with the WHR of the faces the wider the face, the higher the aggressive rating.
The psychologists concluded that subtle differences in face shape may affect personality judgements, which in turn, guide how people respond to others.
During childhood, boys and girls have similar facial structures, but during puberty, males develop wider features than females.
Previous research has suggested that males with wider faces act more aggressively - with studies showing that hockey players with broad features earn more penalty minutes per game than other players .

What are DOT standards?
HJC Helmet meet safety requirements approved by the Department of Transport (DOT) standards for motorcycle helmets. These stipulations insist that motorcycle helmets MUST provide substantial protection from serious injuries. They go further to state that the helmets should ensure the rider has a comfortable ride through lessening wind noise and protecting the rider from stone particles, insects, etc., to ensure that the rider has proper focus while riding.
For more safety, DOT helmets should have an internal froth which is used to pad the head. This foam inside DOT helmets assists in absorbing and spreading the shock incurred from hitting the ground. The thicker the pad is the safer the helmet is. DOT helmets MUST also sport a chin strap. This is used to keep the helmet firmly on.
DOT half helmets are particularly good for short around the town rides as they are lighter and non- constraining. For hot days, DOT half helmets are the best option since they provide nice air flow. In matters of style, custom, low-rider chopper motorcycles dictate that one uses DOT half helmets. When it comes to safety, however, DOT half helmets are unadvised since the face and the chin areas are not adequately covered in spite of having a visor.
DOT scooter helmets are available in different designs. The Shorty scooter helmets offer protection to the top and side regions of the head above the ears. They provide good airflow thus preventing fatigue during hot days. Some Shorty scooter helmets have face shields to protect the rider from insects and rock debris while riding. ¾ scooter helmets cover the top, sides and the back of the head including the ears. These scooter helmets have built-in face shields. They are medium weighted and have good air flow. Full face scooter helmets are not as common as the other two types since they are quite enclosing and heavy.
DOT carbon fibre helmets are the latest types of motorcycle helmets. Carbon fibre is 5 times stronger than steel but 1/3 times lighter. It also has good tensile strength meaning that carbon fibre can stretch to accommodate forces exerted on it. These qualities make carbon fibre helmets more absorbent to shock than other helmet types. It is also unlikely that a sharp object can penetrate carbon fibre helmets. Carbon fibre helmets are also quite light compared to the conventional helmets in the market.

History of helmets
Helmets are known to have been worn by Ancient Greeks and Romans, throughout the Middle Ages, and up to the end of the 1600s by many combatants. At that time, they were purely military equipment, protecting the head from blows, swords, arrows, (low-velocity) musket fire and similar risks. Some helmets had a sort of extension made of leather strips called pteruges to protect the neck, particularly common in the Middle East.
Helmets were first made of boar's tusk and leather, then bronze and iron during the Bronze and Iron Ages, but soon came to be made entirely from forged steel in many societies after about 950A.D. Military use of helmets declined after 1670, and rifled firearms ended their use by foot soldiers after 1700. By the 18th century cavalry units, who protected their bodies with steel cuirasses, frequently wore metal skull protectors under their hats, called "secrets".
The Napoleonic era saw ornate cavalry helmets reintroduced for cuirassiers and dragoons in some armies; they continued to be used by French forces during World War I as late as 1915, when they were replaced by the new French Adrian helmet. Ornate helmets were soon replaced by functional steel helmets by warring nations.
The Prussian Pickelhaube spiked helmet offered almost no protection from the heavy artillery used during World War I, and in 1916 was replaced by the German steel helmet, or Stahlhelm. World War I and its increased use of artillery renewed the need for steel helmets, which were quickly introduced by all the combatant nations for their foot soldiers. In the 20th century steel helmets offered protection for the head from shrapnel and fragments.

Today's armed services often use helmets made of ballistic materials such as Kevlar, which offer improved protection. Some helmets also have good non-ballistic protective qualities to protect the wearer from non-ballistic injuries, such as concussive shock waves from explosions, motor vehicle incidents, and falls. Military helmets can be worn with radio headsets, and other equipment such as night vision goggles can be added. Military helmets are often worn with a removable cotton-polyester helmet cover, which allows the user to change the pattern of the camouflage.

This CS-Max flip-front system helmet has been constructed using advanced fibreglass composite and comes in a choice of three colours -plain black, plain white and for those that really want to be noticed when hitting the roads, fluorescent yellow.
Along with this helmet getting you noticed as you take to the road, especially the fluorescent yellow one, and keeping your noggin safe. There is a chance that it may tempt you away from the Caberg helmets, especially when you consider some of its fantastic features.
For example the HJC CS-Max includes an internal drop down sun visor - which means there's no need to push sunglasses into the helmet once you've got it on. Although it does incorporate a glasses groove to help riders who wear specs.
If that wasn't enough, the CS-Max has banished the days of shouting through your helmet to be heard by other bikers as you pull up to the lights because this helmet comes with a single button chin release. This is simple to use and can be opened and locked down with ease - even with a gloved hand.
